Instruction Tips
Choosing Photos:
Choose photos that are on digital media, CD, memory disc, computer, clean ready to be scanned photos can also be used. Do Not pick pictures that are blurry or need repair work, like damaged edges. The better quality of the pictures will give you a better quality DVD. Note: If scanning yourself please set the scanner resolution at 300 DPI for best results. Make sure the scanner bed is clean and the pictures are saved in a .JPG format. Please do not crop your pictures. If pictures that require cropping, or to have an object or person removed, we can do it for you. Simply place a sticky note on the back of the photo with instructions or name the scanned image NOTE1.JPG give your instructions on the notes section of the order form.
Choosing Music:
You want to choose the music that is going to best send your message about your Loved One out to the viewing audience. Please give us the specifics of the music, song, artist, album and we will purchase the tract for you. If you choose a song to be used without lyrics please specify the original artist, song, album and we will find the closest match to that song and purchase it for you. When using a song performed by a family member or friend without copyright protection involved, you can upload or send the music directly when you upload or send your pictures.
Choosing Captions:
This is a very useful feature when wanting to add a personal touch to your Loved One’s DVD. You can start and/or end the DVD with a verse, commonly used phrases by your Loved One, express meaning, time, or place where each picture was taken. This will turn the DVD into a story of your Loved One, and assist family and friends with seeing and understanding the living experiences in your Loved One’s life. You can also add a Caption to a specific picture. Simply write the Caption down on the back of the photo or name the picture NOTE1.JPG and add the Caption to the order form.
Choosing a Theme:
A Theme is what we can use to help describe your Loved One’s favorite thing to do. Such as playing golf, or going to the Lake, Camping, Etc. This will add a personal touch to your DVD and give’s Eternal Media Inc. a great way to come up with background photos when displaying Verses, Menus, etc… Here is a list of commonly used Themes.

- Or create your own special Theme.
